In a shocking turn of events veteran Tamil film producer AL Azhagappan who has alleged charges of corruption and apparent links to notorious piracy site Tamilrockers on actor Vishal who is currently serving as head of the Tamil Film Producers Association leading to massive protests and a lockdown of the building yesterday. The actor was detained by the police today for trying to enter the building.
In his statement, AL Azhagappan said "I’m hearing reports that Vishal is involved in a lot of criminal activities. A few say that he also has a share in the piracy website Tamilrockers”

AL Azhagappan went to say "The Kannada producers council will not allow a Tamil film to get dubbed in Kannada but Vishal is releasing KGF on his own in Tamil Nadu. Members of the council have many questions for Vishal and when they tried to ask him in the last general body meeting, he escaped without addressing any important topics"
Yesterday a group of producers locked up the Tamil Film Producers Council building where raised slogans against the actor alleging him of misuse of power, today the police handed over the keys to the association after a tussle took place in front of the building.

The Actor was quoted saying" Are you supporting the unauthorized personnel who locked the office without informing us? What about the members who are supposed to go to the office? Who will be responsible for the loss of property? and after a heated argument with the police, he was detained.
