Lady Gabriella Windsor, 37, and fiancée Thomas Kingston following in the footsteps of Meghan Markle, 37, and Prince Harry, 34, and Princess Eugenie, 28, and Jack Brooksbank, 33, who married there in May and October last year, respectively. Gabriella is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, who is the Queen’s first cousin. His father, Prince George of Kent, was the younger brother of the Queen’s father King George VI. Thomas Kingston works in market investment, having started his career in the Diplomatic Missions Unit of the UK Foreign Office, according to The Telegraph.
The groom-to-be also apparently once dated Pippa Middleton in 2011.
While their brief romance fizzled out, the duo are said to have remained friends and he and Gabriella even attended her May 2018 nuptials to husband James Matthews.
He is thought to have long associated in royal circles, having previously dated one of Prince William’s ex girlfriends Natalie Hicks-Lobbecke.
What is planned for their wedding?
While there are little known details on Lady Gabriella’s wedding, it’s expected to be a “scaled down version” of Princess Eugenie’s wedding.
But unlike Eugenie’s wedding, Gabriella’s will be for family and friends only and reportedly not be televised.
High profile members of the Royal Family are still expected to attend, including Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
Lady Gabriella’s parents Prince and Princess Michael of Kent attended Princess Eugenie’s wedding in October.
However, the Queen’s attendance is apparently unlikely.
Royal author Robert Jobson told Express.co.uk he expects “most senior royals to turn out” but added the Queen is not likely to attend as “it may be a bit distant”.
