Shah Rukh Khan faces threat from Kalinga Sena, Odisha Police to beefs up security
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is all set to inaugurate the Men’s Hockey World Cup at the Kalinga Stadium in Odisha on November 27. However, the Kalinga Sena, a fringe outfit operating in Odisha, have come out with open threats against the superstar before his visit.
The outfit has threatened to throw ink on the actor’s face for distorting history in the film that was released 17 years ago. It also threatened to show him black flags on his arrival.

The commissionerate police on Saturday said that adequate security measures will be taken during the visit of Shah Rukh to Odisha.
“We will take adequate security measures for the visit of Shah Rukh Khan during hockey world cup. However, the schedule of the actor is yet to be reached,” IANS quoted Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu as saying.
Kalinga Sena chief Hemant Rath has demanded an apology from Shah Rukh for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Odisha people in Ashoka. The outfit alleged that the film dishonoured the state’s culture and its people by portraying the Kalinga war in a wrong manner.
