NTR Kathanayakudu's Premiere Show Collections
The film released with Tuesday premiere shows and offers in USA and grossed $473k from premiere shows. This is highest number in Nandamuri Balakrishna's career.
Balakrishna's previous best was "Gautamiputra Satakarni" which grossed 375k dollars from premiere shows. So, 'NTR Kathanayakudu' had collected 100k more than 'GSPK' did rake in. All in all, a good number for a Balakrishna movie.
However, the film has underperformed given the buzz and hype when relatively small film like "Geetha Govindam" grossed nearly $400k with ordinary pre-release buzz.
With average ratings of 3 from the critics, the movie has chances to pick up its collections over the weekend. 'NTR Kathanayakudu' is directed by Krish.
