優衣褲Krish Jagarlamudi and Balakrishna’s ‘’ released worldwide yesterday, receiving good reviews for the lead actor’s performance in the titular role and the extensive star cast in cameos.

However, reports now state that the complete film was leaked online for download on a piracy site Tamilrockers notorious for leaking films on day one, sometimes even before the film’s release. While none of the stars or the filmmakers have confirmed on social media that the film has been hit by piracy, numerous reports state the same. The version available for download on Tamilrockers is reportedly of ‘low quality’ and a ‘cam print’, but the damage is expected to have been done. In the past too, the website has faced severe backlash from the film industry for supporting piracy but it seems to be difficult to curb the menace.



Starring Balakrishna and Vidya Balan in lead roles, ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’ is the first part of the NTR biopic that features music by MM Keeravani and cinematography by Gnana Shekar VS. The first part charted the life of the yesteryear star right from his foray into the film industry and rising to stardom. The film ends with the superstar quitting films to do good for the people by forming a political party. ‘NTR: Mahanayakudu’ will pick up from where the prequel ended and show the journey of his political career. The second part of the NTR biopic is slated for release on February 7, clashing with Mahi V Raghav’s YSR biopic ‘Yatra’ which will release on February 8.
