The University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development (UIFT&VD), Panjab University was abuzz with activity on Monday morning. The department, which organized a special session for its students, had a special guest speaker, actress Samaira Sandhu. Sandhu, who did films in Bollywood as well as south, shared her work experiences with the students. The actress who appeared happy to be at the university campus also mentioned about the challenges which she faced in the profession. She particularly talked about how Bollywood opportunity came after she acted in Tollywood films. “Working in Telugu industry gave me an opportunity to get Hindi films,” she said. She also encouraged students for choosing a career in fashion.
