Emraan Hashmi is one actor in the film industry who has been constantly evolving over the years. From starting off with romantic roles and getting the moniker of 'serial kisser', he has eventually moved on to do a wide variety of films. He has also been vocal about his family life as he revealed that his son Ayaan was diagnosed with cancer in a book called 'The Kiss of Life'. Five years and many struggles later, he has the most joyous news for his fans.
Taking to Instagram, the 'Why Cheat India' actor announced that his son Ayaan is now finally 'cancer free'. He also posted pictures of himself with his adorable little boy as the two can be seen bonding in some quality father-son time. He revealed that it took five years since the dreaded day for this good news to arrive.
He also gave his heartfelt thanks to all his fans whose thoughts and prayers were with him. Emraan also offered his prayers for anyone ailing from cancer and said that "hope and belief goes a long way". Here's what he exactly said, "Today, 5 years after his diagnosis Ayaan has been declared cancer free. It has been quite a journey. Thank you for all your prayers and wishes. In his autobiographical book, the actor had bared his soul as he detailed the pains his family went through as his son suffered from a tennis ball-sized tumour in his kidney.
