Filmmaker Priyanandanan targeted by Hindu groups
Priyanandanan, who directed the National award winning feature film Pulijanmam, is in the midst of a controversy following one of his Facebook posts. According to certain Hindu outfits, the post has hurt the sentiments of Hindu devotees and has called for apology from the filmmaker.
The spokesperson of the BJP has reportedly said that the party will take legal action against the filmmaker. This has initiated a hate campaign against the filmmaker, who is ready with his latest project, Silencer.
Priyanandanan, who has directed films like Neythukaran, Pulijanmam, Sufi Paranja Kadha, Bhakthajanangalude Sradhakku and Pathirakkalam, has meanwhile deleted his post.
